The AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02) exam tests foundational cloud knowledge with no prerequisites.

### Format & Timing

• 65 total questions to complete in 90 minutes.
• 50 scored items and 15 unscored items used to collect statistical data (unscored items are not marked).
• Two question types:
• Multiple choice: 1 correct answer and 3 incorrect options (distractors).
• Multiple response: 2 or more correct responses out of 5 or more options.

### Scoring Model

• Score range: 100 to 1,000, with a passing score of 700.
• Uses a scaled scoring model to equate scores across forms with different difficulty levels.
• Uses a compensatory scoring model, meaning you only need to pass overall, not each individual section.
• Unanswered questions count as incorrect, with no penalty for guessing.
