The AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (DOP-C02) exam consists of 75 scenario-based questions to complete in 180 minutes (3 hours). Note that Pearson Vue may list 190 minutes to account for 10 minutes dedicated to the NDA and survey.

Questions appear in two formats:

• Multiple-choice: One correct answer and three incorrect options.
• Multiple-response: Two or more correct answers out of five or more options.

Key scoring considerations:

• Unscored questions: 10 of the 75 questions are unscored questions used to evaluate questions for future use. They are not identified on the exam, so treat every question seriously.
• Passing score: Exam results are reported on a scaled score between 100 and 1,000, with a passing score of 750.
• Compensatory scoring: You do not need to pass each section individually. Strengths in one domain can offset weaknesses in another, as long as your overall scaled score meets or exceeds 750.
